And then the 10th Doctor and Neal Caffrey ran a con together. The end.
So my morning started off pretty good, seeing this clip of David Tennant in the upcoming Fright Night.
So that was good BUT THEN I saw the trailer for In Time and was all like "Holy Crap! Justin Timberlake actually doesn't look like a douche! Also: Matt Bomer and Cillian Murphy? And also also: SO MANY TIME PUNS. And general sexiness in a dystopian future predicated on the preservation of youth and beauty? Sure, that's fine, too."
But now for some "fanfic is serious business" time.
So I'm really enjoying my time-traveling fixit fic, but I keep running into this problem where the most recent thing I write is really good, far better in quality than what I wrote before. So I keep wanting to go back and rewrite the original parts. I've never been in this pickle before! Most of the things I have written have ended before getting over, say, 2000 words.

Justin Timberlake doesn't look like a doosch right? But it reminds me a lot of a bunch of other futuristic movies I've seen just like that one. I probably won't see it, but I will see the David Tennet one.

THAT SAID some of my "must have" scenes have matured and grown (which is a good thing) and in doing so, that affects the scenes around them (which may then require further revisions). arrrrgghghghghghghghghg

But, hey, that was a cool trailer!
But on to the topic at hand: okay, I'll try. It's just that generally, my "revisions" amount to wholesale rewrites of scenes, with only the original idea and maybe one sentence preserved from the first draft. It still feels like "new" writing to me, but I also know that I'm sorta treading water.
ALSO: fantastic icon.

I know! I love my icons! The only reason I would upgrade my account would be to have more icon space... I love all of mine, but I want new ones...
I look forward to reading your fic.
